Welcome to the Ontario Society of Adlerian Psychology
The Ontario Society of Adlerian Psychology is an organization dedicated to furthering the understanding and application of Adlerian Psychology (also called Individual Psychology) based on the work of Alfred Adler.
Mission
The Ontario Society of Adlerian Psychology (ONSAP) is interested in encouraging and promoting the principles of Adlerian principles in daily living. The organizaton aim to lead by example with community harmony through initiatives that facilitate effective parenting, counselling, teaching and community development based on the principles of mutual respect, cooperation, encouragement and social interest.
Purpose
The purpose of the Ontario Society of Adlerian Psychology shall be:
To promote the knowledge, training, and teaching of Individual Psychology, defined as the psychological theory and practice originating with and named by Alfred Adler
To extend the availability of references for Adlerian Psychology and support training centres;
To encourage publication of articles, journals, books, pamphlets, e-zines and e-copies of publications that utilize the theories of Adlerian or Individual Psychology
To establish and maintain contact with other like minded groups, and schools of thought in the fields of psychology, education, etc. and
To encourage and assist local or area groups in their efforts to promote Adlerian ideas and principles in terms of living together in harmony, parenting, professional and therapeutic endeavours and education.
